Thought I would make a video of the reverse WD now that it is operational.

Nice job Marv. I have a RC that I reversed abou 25 years ago and put a forklift mast on the back. It will lift 3500 lbs and I use it regularly.

Ten Amendments, Ten Commandments, and one Golden Rule solve most every problem. Citrus hand-cleaner with Pumice does the rest.

. Really nice job there and a thoroughly detailed youtube video of the design features! Makes me wonder if you made up a bolt-on kit of parts there would be a lot of conversion demand for a kit. Perhaps find a fabrication shop that could make them to orders. Use a quick-connect attachment that fits all the skid-steer buckets and forks and so on. .

I've heard several people say that there was a company over in Minnesota that made a pile of reverse WD's, they even had their own serial numbers? But I've never heard an actual company name. Not sure if they converted them from brand new?
Trust me, there was 3 times as much R & D then there was fabrication. Lots of brainstorming, trying, testing, tacking, swearing, beer, cutting, revamping, tacking, trying, etc. Now that I've got it done, I could probably churn another one out in half the time. I really did this one on the cheap. Mostly scraps I had laying around. Two teenage kids don't lend themselves to have a large tractor fund. |
