Hello, all.
Anyone know where I may find a driveshaft for the FWA on a 6060? I’ve browsed many websites with no luck. I’m sure salvage yards may have one, but don’t know of any moderately close to Cheyenne, WY. Thanks! 07B89357-CA6B-4483-88B0-DDADA1CBF84F.jpeg |

First call I’d make is All States Ag Parts in Salem SD, never know Worthington Ag might have one. Summerix is worth a try also but Ivan isn’t cheap. Cook’s in Illinois or Missouri has a reputation for decent Allis inventory. I have very bad taste in my mouth for Heitman.

Mark Heitman treated me perfectly when I needed him. Experiences vary, so he may be worth a try for you.

Thanks for the recommendations. I think I’ve searched most of the websites mentioned. Called Wenger’s but the part they has listed was not the shaft I need. May have to call to see if they have parts not listed. Is it the same as 6070 & 6080? May inquire at a fabrication shop to see if they can make it.

Bought a tractor from him went to load it on my trailer rear end was out only moved by fwa. Got it home found out the PTO shaft was broke off internally in two places and bolts on the oil pan were only finger tight. Check cleared the bank zero willingness to make it right. I’ve spent twice what I paid for it fixing and it still needs a motor. He should have sold the “sheet metal” as salvage and put the rest in a scrap trailer.

What do you want me to say? I believe you. More/less remember your story. Yet, that’s exactly what he did for me, did right by me. Experiences vary. 🤷♂️ Having said that, if I bought a tractor that wouldn’t drive up the trailer in 2wd, I wouldn’t have bought it and loaded it until I knew what was wrong. Not to mention I’ve used the tractor daily for 3 years and hour meter hasn’t moved.

Hopefully this brings closure to this thread. Victory Allis (Thomas Grabowski) came, drove the tractor and purchased as is knowing the tractor had a bad rear end (see receipt below). Heitman Tractor Salvage does not pressure anyone into purchasing any equipment that they are unsure of. If he was unsure of the tractor, he should not have purchased it. It's that simple.

Receipt is dated May 29th I was not in Wisconsin until JUNE 27th and had not drove it till the evening of JUNE 27th. The receipt proves you knew the rear end was out. Tractor was bought site unseen based off you description. I’m not new to the fixer upper tractor gig either that 6080 was number 3 out of 4. The guy I bought my 8050 from ended up becoming a good friend and we text back and forth 4-5 times a week.
