There's been an ad in the Lancaster Farming  for many months for a place ne N.J. that has lots of things listed.  From what I read everything has been used and abused to the point it may only be a scrap value anyway.  N.J. Is about like an auction for me; There's nothing there I NEED bad enough to go there for.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.

Hmmmm.... maybe I'll take a ride down to Flemington and see what I find. Only about 40 minutes away from me. Ya never know what you may find. People that usually condemn things without going usually put their foot in their mouth later when they hear about a few good deals they missed. Then again, maybe some people have enough crap around there property and don't need anything.  I picked up a complete loose B motor for $40 bucks a few years back. Nothin' blown, bent or broken. I thought it was a Hell-of-a deal... Whatever...

I was there a long time ago.  There were twice as many tractors then. In looking at the pics, the good stuff seems to be mostly long gone....

What a joke. I wasn't all that interested, but I decided to go take a look. The fb post said it started at 8. I messaged the guy on Thursday for the address. He replied and said that the owner didn't want people coming around before the sale, so he was taking phone numbers and would send a group text Sat**day morning. I gave him mine and he replied with a thumbs up. I'm about 30 minutes from Flemington, so I headed down this morning and got to the area around 745, expecting a text. By 815 there was no text. I messaged him at 815. Getting no response, I left the area. Too many other things to do. At 1038 he replied with the address. I asked him what happened to 8? He replied "sorry man. I'm still here". I replied that I was gone.
What a way to run a railroad.

When I talked to the guy Thursday I could tell the whole deal was a joke. He told me he had over 100 people coming Sat**day. I am glad I didn’t drive 3 hours one way for that.. So who all got GOOD DEALS???

I never got there. The wife forgot to tell me her brother and his wife were coming up from Cape May for a weekend visit with us. Whoops!  So much for that idea of going but it sounds like it was a flop anyway. Whoever showed up probably got their butts rained on big time. The heavens opened up in the late morning at my house....
