This am I winterized my camper, cut several trees up for firewood (haven't split it yet) and butchered one rooster for supper. After lunch I played on my lathe most the day while charging the battery on my 190XT. Now I'm festering a full tummy watchin da news. Nice job on the loader.

Got a big section of roof repairs done on the house today. Derecho kinda made a mess and the roofing contractors are backlogged with city jobs. Also mounted some better tires on the “wood” trailer and repacked the bearings.

Cut hay with the 200 and 488 New Holland hay conditioner. I hope it is the last time I ever cut hay. Fixed a tire on the rear of the old pickup, mowed the front lot with the Lawn mower. Got the old gal on the road to make some deliveries. Greased the side rake, ready for Sunday or Monday baling hay. Most important thing, showed the grandson how to operate the 200.

Drove 150 miles to buy a corn chopper. Drove 100 miles back, where it's sitting getting new tires.

I finished building new bats for the finger style reel out of wood for my Gleaner E. On a 10' head, there's 12 bats with 12 tines each. There's 2 holes for each tine then 8 more holes to attach them to the reel. Fortunately the week before I picked up a used floor style drill press at an auction for $35...

Lol that loader literally has my name on it, look at the plate on the front real close, finally got it back on today, hood back on, completely re-wired, a little disappointed with the lighting, thinking about adding rock lights underneath so I can see my wheels, and a light bar maybe on the loader

![]() I know it's not an Allis, the Allis was on the chopper keeping me dang busy packing. Got some cleaning up to do, but it's not as bad as it looks there, that grass and weeds are pretty tall. Edited by Tbone95 - 28 Sep 2020 at 7:57am |

Idk about your area but here they don't add it to the taxes unless it's a permanent structure, if a beer fridge was in the garage nothing would ever get done lol

In NY State, they assess what is on the property on April 1. It will be hiding in my storage barn by then ! If you notice, the red barn (also part of the Halloween display) is built on an old house trailer axle, so it can be moved out of the yard and so it can't be assessed and didn't have to be built to code. We will use it for Halloween and Christmas, then jack it up, mount a pair of tires and pull it out of the way for storage.
