I learned something today. I saw a documentary the other day and wondered why the gals had their Poppy's on their right shoulder. I looked it up. Everyone who has not fought for their country wears the poppy on the right, everyone who has been in uniform wears theirs over the heart.

So, only veterans of foreign wars can wear them on the left, over their hearts?  I never knew this either.

The sad thing for me ,is I only know of one who wears the poppy over his heart...

..he'll be 97 this year !!
