Does anybody know what they called the ATV with a large pontoons wrapped with flighting on each side for the drive system. Russian military used them and I know AC made a tracked vehicle with a SBC engine for all terrain use, as a matter of fact, Tom's place just South of Mammoth CA uses one of the tracked ACs for snow, I didn't know if AC made one of the auger thingies as well.  Thanks Tad

Hey DIYD, that wasn't the one I was thinking of but I have seen one of those at the Woodland CA museum, it was called a "Snowmotor"  built on a Fordson tractor as I recall and used to deliver mail in Truckee CA snow capitol of the world
