Some time back there was a discussion about cylinder seal/packing kits for the 500 loaders. Can someone update me. Was that Baum that had kits? Thanks....Dale

Dale, I do not know about that discussion but Baum can pretty much help on any parts for rams. I've even sent ends to them when we could not figure out what I needed. Phone # is 800-642-9333. All I can say is it's not often it seems like you need help. LOL Den

I have 2 500 loaders and when I need repairs I just take it apart and take orings and seal to local hydraulic shop and they match it up. Much cheaper than buying kits

As Steve said, I rebuilt 1 bucket cylinder and a main lift cyl last winter for $100 worth of parts from local shop.

Dennis...Thanks...But that is because the right people let me hang with them...The scary part is I was involved in the conversation and had seen those Baum kits. Leon/Steve...Does the 500 on a 180 have bigger lift cylinders {2.5} like what is used on the 7000. Parts for the 517 and 519 interchange with the 400 Series....Thanks...Dale

Can't say for sure if the 500 cyl will interchange with other series, I do know there are different length cyl for them. We have 2 500 loaders and one is about 8" longer and the posts are taller. Both mounted on XT'sLeon B Mo
