NOS

I have several old cars and NOS usually means parts from the original supplier, NORS (new old replacement stock) is the companies that made the replacement or service parts from that same era, like Gabriel or Monroe shocks when it originally came with MOPAR, GM or Ford branded parts off the assembly line.

Nope - FORD = First On Race Day! 

GMC = Garage Mans Companion

Pontiac = Poor Old Nincompoop Thinks Its A Cadillac 

FIAT = Fix It Again Tony

Polaris = Pull Off Lake Repair In Summer

Then there is

MF = Massive ........ well you can guess from there

CHEVROLET
Cracked Heads Every Valve Rattles Oil Leaks Engine Ticks

What's funny to me is that described the '51 grain truck I was working on last winter just perfectly! Got it all fixed now, though. 

MOPAR- Massively Over Powered And Respected

Ford- For Old Retarded Drivers

IHC- I Hope it Cranks

Olds- Old Ladies Driving Slow

Subaru- Screwed Up Beyond All Repair Usually

AMC- All Makes Combined

How bout'  "F*#$n' old rusty dog. That was what we used to call em' round here. When I was a kid, I worked in a Sunoco station. There was an Esso station down the street which was our competition at the time. (before it became Exxon-dating myself here) We used to say: Esso-  "Every Sucker Stops Once"... We used to call Studebakers "Stupidbakers" because of some of the mixed matched engineering on the older models. They were tough old vehicles though I havta' say...
