Awesome!!! Gotta love a well-maintained L series machine!
The interior looks very well-kept as well! Most I see are worn to shreds. Edited by CrestonM - 18 Jun 2017 at 1:24am |

I bought this machine in '93, told the salesman that it would be the last combine I'd buy. I sold the black cornhead when I quit growing corn in '99 or so. now just a few acres dryland wheat on maybe some milo is all it has to do. the AC will still keep you really cold on a 100* day, I try to keep the cab clean and tidy, cause that's where I enjoy being.. LOTS of P-M done before keeps me there...
if its not working, its parked inside,, I don't think it has had more than 2-3" rain on since I've owned it, before its put up it gets cleaned up, all chaff and dust is blown or washed off, cab vacuumed, and hopefully mouse proofed

Awesome pics, thanks for sharing!
Either remove the air filter, or buy a Baldwin air filter that is screened on both sides. Mice love using that for bedding. I much prefer to remove the cab air filter. Also undo the air vent/ radio panel and let it swing down. Remove a few blank panels from the overhead console. Gotta make it open and airy to discourage nesting. :) |

Gleaner: the properly engineered and built combine.
If you need parts for your Gleaner, we are parting out A's through L2's, so we may be able to help. |

Great! If every owner/operator cared for their machines that way, used equipment buying wouldn't be very risky!
