With my 8550 down for the count, I've been resurrecting an old 24 foot concord air seeder to put behind my 7060 to try to get some seeding done with that. I took it out for a little test run this afternoon, and it handled it pretty good, but I was thinking that I should slap the duals onto it that I have for my 8070. But I realized that the rears on my 7060 are radials, and the duals are bias. Is that a problem. ...? Thanks, Darrel

We do it also on our 7045. It will ride rougher. Usually bump up the psi on the radials but have had no problems.

We have put bias duals on with radial tires. We just lowered the pressure on the duals. I took them off two weeks later since we didn't need them any more. At harvest when we dual end up again we put the correct set on. The sprayer and four tractors all use the same duals and the spare set are bias off a tractor that's long gone. The tire stack got rearranged when we moved it. I don't know if would make a differance long term. Even mix matched sets work some tires have enough wear that there is a diameter differance. Except for the articulating tractors the duals only have about half the tire pressure of the main tires.
