I recently purchased a 7030 that has been sitting in a shed for several years.
Got it home drained the fuel put new fuel in changed fuel filter cracked loose the fuel line to the injection pump and used primer pump to get fuel to that point. Then cracked loose fittings on injectors 2-6 couldn't get #1 loose so loosened it at pump cranked engine but no fuel seems to be getting through pump any ideas or suggestions

Setting is a bad word on diesel fuel these days, take a flashlight and peek in the tank, if I have trouble with one like you describe I start st the tank, clean it if it needs it, then on up to the pump, the Roosa a,s can take alot but gotta have good fuel, I think those had a lift pump, is it working?

Metering valve stuck or plungers are stuck. Remove top cover, there is a valve under cross shaft. Work it back and forth to free it up only if there is fuel around it. If that don't it, might as well send it to pump shop.      MACK
