hmm 4 speed, that'd be a CA, it's a STEAL at $2K...can't buy a bigbox thintin lawnmower for that.

grill and front are from a B.... with a CA trans/ rear end.
 
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

I think it's a "B" from the torque tube forward and the back half is a "CA".   Rick

I agree with Rick. Hood,manifold,air cleaner and probably the engine is "B" to me.
It's the color tractor my grandpa had!

The front rims are the two piece type from an early B.

38 B front wheels, no starter or choke control at the operators station, starter switch down instead of up like the late B and CA, Manifold has data plate from earlier engines, torque tube has cultivator mount bosses like the CA and late B's. Yep, she's a 38, 39 40, 41  one piece at a time build, but nothing wrong with that for a working tractor.
