Is anyone else having problems with the search on the forum??
It might be the latest Firefox update, I don't know. For the last couple of weeks I have had this problem;
Search Error
No Search Results Found
Your search failed to find any results
Click here to amend your search
Most of the time I get this:
Server Error
500 - Internal server error.
There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.
I then get a blank white page.
I just want to know if others are having this problem, or it is specific to some setting on my PC or Firefox.

I'm with Creston. I've almost always had problems with the search. My day job is working in IT and I always that though running a search with to large of a range was too much for the server so it times out. Seems like a very narrow search with a small time windows works like 2 weeks, but like the 1 year search never does.
I followed your instructions from awhile ago and setup a custom Google search and let Google do the work.

This used to work pretty good! Not so much now.

If the search function can be fixed I would appreciate it too. I was going to do some updates on old threads and cant get past the server error message.

Google works fine. Just type in what you are looking for and add allischalmers.com to the end of it

I can't get the google search to work either by just adding allischalmers.com to the end. I have to use the google custom search that I built from Ted's instructions.

Put site:allischalmers.com in a google search and it will work. ex. wd45 site:allischalmers.com

Can't we get this problem fixed? Hope the moderators are watching so they can get something done. I'm guessing it's a HOST problem.
I like to use the site search when I am looking at things that I posted, so I can follow up. The same problem Chris (Sugarmaker) has. It's a PITA the way it is, not working......
The problem with the Google search is that if I am looking for posts STARTED by me and not just any post that I answered also. I'm KINDA patient, but not THAT patient.
