Got a friend that wants me to build him a produce wagon, with half of it as a cooler room(apx 8x8x5'). Problem is is there's no power where its gonna sit. Would a reefer unit off a box truck, or trailer be overkill? Anyone have experience in this area?

I don't where you would find one, but those little units that fit on meat delivery box trks. would work.

I've seen them on produce selling trailers before. when I asked about them, the owner says it works great, said it was kinda an overkill, but said he could use it to freeze the inside if needed. came off a straight truck box. and I know 2 people that have taken reefers off semi trailers and mounted them to their shop walls, and they work good there too.
