I believe 6 bolt hubs from an early WC will fit on those spindles.

I think so too. I took wheel bearings out of a WD and put them in the 6 bolt hubs on my WC.

I'm thinkin them rims are a bit wider than skinny WD's. I put some GM(Buick?)rims(15x6 I think) on my 45.Had to skin a little outa the center but not much.Think they are the same size as his...7.5L's Edited by SteveM C/IL - 02 Jan 2017 at 10:46pm |

I know GMC truck rims fit the CA rears. Had to flip them 'inside out' but it sure made moving it easier!

They are 15" tires. I bought the rims from a coworker pretty reasonable, believe they came off a 4020. I painted them white because they may wind up on the 185 but would rather put them on the 45 if I can find the right hubs and put new 11L15s on the 185.

If you can find trade numbers for the bearings and exact dimensions on the spindles, its possible there might be a stock hub from Baum Hydraulics http://www.baumhydraulics.com or Shoup http://www.shoupparts.com
If you dig into the tapered roller bearings of the Baum catalog you will find that there are several cones and cups that have the same roller dimensions but sometimes a wide range of spindle and cup dimensions, so the critical dimension on the hub and spindles are more often the length between the places the bearings ride. Baum also sells seals, another variable. I know one of the stock hubs that both of those places carry fit my AC plow when I broke the hub. Gerald J. |
