Is this disk?  Any ideas what it weighs?
I need this info for tire info, ballast and PSI.  Thanks, Ted

Don't believe the Disc had a Model No.
Simply referred to WD 8' Disc  (  if it is 8 ft. wide )
I would put 12 psi. in rear tires.

Plow is a 50 series

No idea on weight but Matt is correct about the series #'s.

I am thinking of buying an 8.5 ft. Model WD-109 Snap Coupler disc like the one shown in this post, for use on food plots.   I would like to know what the approximate weight of it would be for hauling on a trailer.  Anyone know?  Thanks!

I would guess 800 to 1000 lbs on the disc. I say that because we had a 12 foot ac disc here and the person who bought it unloaded it with a tractor that had 1200 lbs loader and that tractor wanted to tip over picking it up. Not much to go on but they are heavier then they look.

Thanks Bob and Dan for the quick reply.  With the hitch assembly off, I should be able to haul it crossways on the trailer we use for our Kawasaki Mule.

I used to haul a tandem set of drag discs on a 'REPURPOSED' 6 by 8 tent trailer, as it was a 'deck over' style. Used 4 2by8s as ramps and a hand winch on the D-14 to pull it up. If I'd used it more, I'd put the winch on the trailer,but their both gone now. Unloading was a lot easier...just grab the disc and let it roll off the back.
The trailer cost me all of 50 Canucks, and was dedicated to disc storage and haulage.Having the discs on it 24/7 made it easy to move around the yard here !

maybe an option ??

They aren't very heavy. Maybe 500 for plow 900 for the disk? Once I saw posted on here a document that had all the model plow and their weights listed. Can't remember where it was. It was interesting to compare the weight differences between models.

If I'm not going too far, I just load up the WD-45 and disc hooked up.  You need the tractor almost to the front of the trailer and the disc gangs almost touch the rear trailer fenders.  It hangs over a little on each side.  I put flags on each outside edge and stay off the interstate.

When I bought it from a retiring farmers farm sale, I took the tongue off and loaded it sideways with a loader tractor onto the same trailer.

Dennis, my recollection is all of the 100 series discs were SC or pin-hitch mounted discs i.e. no axles/wheels; the tractor hydraulics carried the entire disc.  The 200 series discs were all pull type (either SC or regular drawbar) with a remote lift cylinder and axles/wheels.

Creston, I bought that disc at a retiring farmer's auction about 15 years ago.  The story goes that it had never sat outside overnight since he had it.  By the looks of it, I believe it.  It's only been outside a few weeks since then otherwise in a shed.  I paid $600 for it at the time.  The auction was just south of Altamont, IL.

I looked but couldn't find it. Seems like I commented on the post if I remember right. There was a chart and list weights for like a 62, 63, 64 fully mounted, 62, 63, 64 semi mount. 72, 73, 74, and down the line. You could see how much the spring trips and such added.

Brian, the previous owner made that "modification".  As best I can tell, the board is simply how he wanted to attach a support for the clevis that's mounted in the middle.  I believe the clevis was used as the hitch point for a pull-type drag harrow behind the disc.  I've never had a drag harrow behind this disc, but I guess you could.
