just notied a substantial fuel spray from underneath the top piece of the pump that has the 6 fitting for the injector lines. it appears to be from an area where there is a rectangular ( small cut out piece0 and is spraying directly rearward. is this just a gasket or?? What all does it take to fix it?? This is the ambac pump.

head seal of pump is leaking. It is not an easy fix, nor will just an o-ring fix it. the o-ring wears a groove in the housing. We send housings off to have them machined and an insert put in that area. Time for a pump job. Ed.
