Just wanted to upload a couple of 70's era photos from the Dr. C Huff Company, our local Allis Chalmers dealership. No longer in business, the company was a favorite of the most of the farmers in our area, almost all of the Allis Chalmers tractors and equipment close were purchased here.

No kidding. Such a shame that we dont have places like this anymore.
We've still got a lot of equipment from there, I've often wondered if the 185 in the far left of the top picture is one of the 185's that we own now, which was bought new there in 78. It's identical to the one in the picture, so I like to think it could be. Haha. Such a shame to lose local institutions like this, wish we could go back and see all these things again..

I do believe so. They were a New Idea dealer too, we've got a NI Corn Picker that was bought there.
New Idea combine is something you definitely dont see much of, anymore.

I think it's a 68, possibly a Plymouth? Dad and I concluded on that, anyway. As always, could be mistaken, though.

Thanks for the pictures. Looks like 3-4 combines and maybe a hay stacker to the right of the combines in the front row. Did New Idea make a stacker?

It was in 185 between Caneyville and Roundhill. My uncle and several cousins worked there. Bought our (used) WD from Dr. C. Huff.
