Several weeks ago a carpenter I know tells me to come look at 3 pickers he pulled out of the woods, he said 1 must be an Allis because its orange. OK I'm busy, I'll try. Yesterday he says the scrap man was there & Yep 2 of them are Allis-Chalmers one is just rustier than the other & older! He's saving them for me because he knows I'm an Allis guy. Today I went for a look & yup you guessed it, 1 New Idea #7, 1 New Idea #7 painted orange and 1 rusty Dearborn or Woods or prehaps a McCormick, found some very faded red under some dried grease, no ID tag. Sell them to the scrap guy & thanks for thinking of me. OK, but he thought he'd get more than scrap if they were AC's
