Is there any old trick to getting the flat spots out of tires that have been sitting for quite a while? The tractor has duals so I was thinking of turning the duals 180 so the flat spots don' line up anymore. Can you over-inflate somewhat and hope they take shape again?
It's not in the book at the moment for a new set of tires. I'm sure it won't be an issue once its in the field, just getting there sure will be a wild ride.

I think with use they will start to take shape again, myself I wouldn't over inflate them but could be wrong.

like when tractors sit or in the cold ? a flat spot from siting. just drive it it will come out . always has for me, but i might not have explained it right lol

When I drove Terragators for a living the first ten minutes of the morning ride was kinda yummpy until the flat spots came out from sitting over night.
Inflate your tires to the proper pressure and drive them, they will smooth out.

Unless they were sitting for years they should be fine after you get them rolling for awhile.

once you put them under load in the field for a while they will flex into shape again, I do fall tillage for my uncles with a 9620 john deere, same problem but it went back to normal in a couple rounds of digging

If it has set all winter you might try turning the flat to the top and let it set a day or so.

I guess I should have said its been sitting for around 10 years, with no movement in the last 5 or so.

Unless the rubber has gotten really hard they should round out over time, or bring the tractor out to my place (north Texas) around August and we can plow up some of my red clay.
