I was wondering when someone was going to get around to this series! This is my 1985 6080 with 4600 hours. New tires and new orange paint (except the side sheets - those are original).

If I was more tech savy I would post pics of our two 6080s. Ours used to get 400 hours a year each compared to the 125 to 200 hours the rest of the tractors each get. They don't have a lot of lug to them but do have definately more horsey's than they are rated for. They are very nimble especially compared to a 7000. If I wasn't building a new machine shed I would be giving Kurzy a call on his.

The 6000 series all had the same motor, the 6070 and 6080 were intercooled though. 670 series motor (T)(I) 4 cylinder version of the 301. |

They had the 433 series engine (4 cylinder, 3.3 Liter displacement) which was 2/3 of a 649 series motor.

TJ Shaw. THat is one bad ass bale buster. Most guys go with 3 at a time. 2 on machine and 1 in the bucket. Is that something you built yourself or does another company do these conversions?
