I started to get hundreds of aggravating NUISANCE ads while looking for something on the net about 2-3 weeks ago. They just pop up in the center of page and there is NO WAY to "X" em out or delete em!! You have to CLOSE the page and restart and most times the frigging add will re-appear again,,,!!
I finally did a SYSTEM RESTORE and that stopped the pop ups but are now back again!!!
  Anybody else having that issue????

Sounds like you've got a virus Joe.  If you'd quit going to them girly pages......
Have somebody download "Malware Bytes" onto a flash drive and then run it on your PC.
Best advice I can give ya.....

But yeah, that is what Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and a few others are doing.  They're listening and watching ALL the time.....

Invasion of privacy,,,,,,,,,,,but our so called gov't won't do anything about it as THEY are getting paid behind the scenes.  It's GRAFT, but they call it PAC funds.

New one appeared to me this last week.  Anytime I get a link or try to watch a U Tube video, a popup appears to inform me that I am running an ad blocker (which I have) and that is against U-Tubes policy of service!  Some of my favorite musicians are no longer available.  Blasted ads, anyway!!  Does anyone really pay any attention to these annoying intrusions?

In Add Blocker you can white list sites to allow them to show up while blocking the ones you do not want .
I run CC Cleaner to remove the sneaky things that want to burry themselves in places where they can bring up sites I do not want .

Been running it and all the updates over the last couple years .
See no difference in new version over older ones

tried the above link of Coke's posting and got 'error'  copied his link and pasted in the bar and got the vid.

Watched it and and checked out the settings and they were already shut off. so we still get all them popups along the right edge of screen. oh well, just continuing to x them out.

 Hey JC,,Good to hear from you again,,,it been a while,,there Good Buddy,,,,Wink
I'm begining to believe that the "Googles" and even the  Microsofts of the world are the main culprits of these nuisance ads,,,!! Those ads just could NOT happen if the Googles Of The World did not want them to happen,,,PERIOD,,!!
I;m seriously thinking of going back to FIREFOX as we were not riddled with them frigging ads when I used Firefox,,,,??
