Hope to get the glass in the greenhouse tomorrow. Grandsons got the frame work up last fall. Old gal says she'll keep keep mouth shut while she is helping. Wonder if that'll last more than 30 minutes? It's awfully awfully hard for her to do.

I usually get huffing and puffing until I say "what are you huffing about?" Then I get an eye roll, another huff, and "nothing"

Yeah the 'eye roll'. Then you mentally retrace your steps and still can't figure it out and then you are just dumber than ever. Daughter backing up mom doesn't help.

Kinda makes you wonder how we ever got this old without
accidentally cutting our own head off with all the wisdom we are surrounded with.

Didnt get the job done today. I couldn't find the clips that hold the panes in the frames. Just got off the phone with both grandsons. Oldest one said they emptied the box of clips into a plastic bucket. I spent 2 hours looking for the darn box. I did get 1 new light put up. It will light up the area around the new to me wheel balancer. Old gal was on her phone with her 2 gal pals all day. How do they do it????? I had to deliver this morning. At least she didn't go along for the ride. Now she's telling me that she has 3 or 4 more orders to make up tomorrow. That means she'll be in her shed most of the day and NOT bothering me.

Guys,. I would not recommend a Harbor freight greenhouse. The framework is ok. The clear plastic is built like thick cardboard. The panels are held In with some phony wire clips. If this thing goes thru 1 stiff breeze, I will be surprised. I need around 78 -- 1/4" thick, 1/2" wide, 6' long aluminum strips with 4- 6 holes drilled in them. Then I will have to drill matching holes in the frame work. This is just to get rid of these phony clips and actually hold the clear plastic crap on. If this stuff blows away, and I think it will, I'll get the real stuff and replace this clear card board. Only got 1/2 of the roof and 2 side panels on today before my darn back gave out.

I have one putting the plastic in is kinda a POS the panels must be centered exactly so the stupid clips will clic in place. It has to be just on the little raised bump in the aluminum channel all the way around. My nieghbor has had his up for 2 winters now with no problems. The extruded plastic looks like cardboard because the seperated tube provide an insulation value. I'm still waiting to plant in mine, it'll be soon as enough snow melts so I can move it to the south side of the shop and get crushed rock for the floor.

When I put up my greenhouse it was used and instead of putting the glass in it I bought lexan that's got the hollow like tubing in it and used the u shaped pieces that held the glass in and it has been great we raise grape tomatoes in it and have them all winter long.

ARE we married to the same person here???  My bride does the same thing, and then "talks" to herself, calling me names, making comments, etc.  When I call her out, "I WAS TALKING TO MYSELF!!!! "   Go,    well this is a PG-13 site! LOL

Simple fixes work best on these cheap a$$ chinese units, but do them BEFORE  the problems start. SDST screws, fender washers, bracing material is what is needed.  I'd put diagonal corner braces in, at the corners , near the roof...Wink

Dave. I never thought about fender washers and sheet metal screws. Gotta take the day off tomorrow and take mom some grocerys. Thank you for posting that Vidio. I was able to see the clips holding the panels on. Will pick up some fender washers tomorrow to put in the center of the panels. Again Thanks.
