I'm looking for a spraying tractor, what I do wind up buying will never get pulled hard. Going to look at one tomorrow just to kill time. It's air cooled. What do I look for as far as the air cooled portion. Don't really know anything about this model.ThanksLeon B Mo

I bought one new. First 1100 hours it ran like a clock. After that didn't run much at all. I wouldn't buy it. Have an 8785 Agco Allis that I bought new when we traded in the 8610. It has over 7000 hours on it now. Way better tractor & much more dependable than that 8610 was. Do what you want . But I would run like hell from it.

Just curious as to what problems the tractor had, doesn't sound like a lemon if it worked good for 1100 hr.

Electronics. Everything was electronic controlled as in throttle & governor. Fuel pump electronic also. Just got to where it was not dependable at all. Would just quit & die in the field Or in the middle of a job. Local dealer at that time just could not get it figured out. Called in company people same result. It also was kinda hard to keep engine from running warm after that many hours & we did not neglect the maintenance . They were made in Italy not Deutz. We needed a dependable tractor & this one was not so we got rid of it. I don't fault our dealer as they tried their best to make it right. I heard that people later would strip all the electronic stuff off them & make them completely mechanical. Anyway we had a bad experience and was glad to see it go.

I bought one with 5 k hours on it at cooks auction had it till 7 k hours never let me down. Make sure on air cooled keep fins on motor blowed out and belts tight! I traded it back at cooks for a 7600 agco allis with 3 k hours now it has 5 k and always did what I asked. There good tractors. Just require a different maintenance approach then what were used to.
