HAPPY  EASTER  to all A-C enthusiasts & their families.  The Land of Lincoln Expo tractor show is looking for all things Allis Chalmers for our show on June 15 - 18, 2017.  The show will be at the Macoupin County Fairgrounds located on Illinois Rt. 4 north of Carlinville, IL.  We're less than an hour south of Springfield and about 1 and 1/2 hours northeast of St. Louis, MO.  Carlinville is 12 miles west of Exit 60 on I-55.  We're looking for everything from 1914 through the end of the AGCO tractors,  garden tractors through 4WD's.  This is an all brands, working clothes to fully restored, everyone's welcome including vendors, no gate fee show.  Some features include a tractor drive along the original Route 66, a rib and brisket cook-off with craft beer tasting on Saturday, daily tractor parade, and dyno testing.  The Macoupin County Historical Society will have their 1870's mansion open for tours on Saturday morning and we'll have a bus available for shuttle duty.  The Carlinville FFA chapter will serve food at the fairgrounds.  Kurt Aumann is bringing some tractors from his collection.  Organizer Bill Miller is a John Deere guy and many green tractors from several states are already promised.  So let's get some orange tractors and equipment to the show!  Everyone with an A-C tractor or implement is welcome.  We really need the later models like the 6000, 7000, and 8000 series.  We have no AGCO tractors promised as yet.  Anyone want to bring an AGCO?  The idea is to show A-C from start to "the end".  Contact Bill Miller at 217-502-4504 or shinola@royell.org.  THANKS!
