Was curious if any or hopefully all of you would be willing to say what the most difficult and/or expensive repair was on. Tractor? Combine? Other? Thanks for any replies AND for all of your advise!!

I would love to hear as well!

I have wondered how much fun splitting a hi-crop tractor is, that would be what I assume would be not terribly fun.

On Gleaner combines, we are lucky that nothing is particularly deep or hard to repair, so we are quite spoiled by that luxury. It seems the longest repairs are just tedious dis-assembly and careful re-assembly like new mainshaft bearings or something.
Gleaner: the properly engineered and built combine.

If you need parts for your Gleaner, we are parting out A's through L2's, so we may be able to help.

We have a '81 f2 that i pray the false bottom raddle pan holds together. That does NOT look like a pleasant project.Unhappy

I would say it was a 9435 or 9455 that was in warranty. Ago spent more than the price of tractor during the warranty period. Not sure of model # now, but it was a MF built tractor.  MACK
 PS. And it was still a piece of junk.
