Chop Gibson of Scranton, Iowa passed away Friday, December 19, 2025. He was 85. He had a genuine love for family, farming , and anything related to Allis Chalmers and Gleaner. His creativity and ingenuity allowed him to build some truly remarkable machines. Born, raised, and lived  in the Greene county community all his life,  he was well known and liked by his many friends and family. He was a faithful attendant of many of the WHO sponsored tractor rides around Iowa. He and his stories will be sadly missed by the many that knew him. Although he was not a member of the Unofficial Allis group, his tractors have been shown multiple times on the forum. Truly a one of a kind individual, and I am so thankful to have known him.

Prayers for his family and friends. Those are some unique tractors.

He definitely built some cool 45's! Saw one of his tractors at the Boone WHO ride but didn't get to meet him.
