Do 125ci sleeves fit in a 116ci B motor?  What is needed to go to 125 or larger in a hand crank start B?  I would like to keep the compression ration around the same for easy starting.

the original BE was a 3-1/4 inch bore. Later the same block was fitted with bigger ID sleeves to get 3-3/8 inc bore. Same rods, valves, crank, block... they all have interchangable parts.  Most aftermarket kits are now 3-7/16 bore and will go into the BE or the CE block. Compression is probalby 6 or 6.5 to 1 on most kits.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

When did the 3-7/16" overbore kit come out for use? I have an old B from a fence row find and it has the larger overbore pistons in it. It was stuck but a little gasoline in each hole and a match and it was free. Took longer to take the head off than to get it unstuck.

All you need are the sleeves, pistons and "O" rings.
Nothing major to do. Bob

Thats a good question  Jim. I always thought it had something to do with Allis going out of buisness and most aftermarket parts being made overseas after that.. I dont have a clue to the answer, but will guess mid 1980s.
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

I have a 1957 Tractor Supply Blue book that shows the 3 7/16 overbore kit for the B, C, CA, and RC.  That was about the time the power race started.
Most problems can be solved with the proper application of high explosives.
