I could be wrong but I thought the tractors with the AC Tri-angle logo had black seat backs and the tractors with the diamond logos had cream ones. My Grandpa had a 1964 Series III, it had a cream seat, he also had a 1966 or 1967 Series IV it had a black seat.

Must of been a upgrade that im sure was an extra cost.I bet they changed the seat back color with the change in triangle logo from the old ac logo, and they changed the decals on the hoods from ones outlined in chrome to no chrome outlines.I wish i could remember things from the past, but that was back in the 60"s.thanks john.

We have 3 series 4 Diesels. The 65 and 66 have the diamond A-C logo while the 67 has the triangle logo. All have original cream colored seats. Two of them have 5 lug front hubs and one has 6 bolt hubs. I have noticed different combinations of logos, seat color, and wheel hubs. Some of them could have been repaints or had parts changed though. So far I haven't been able find out when or why the changes were made.
