I am currently rebuilding the lift pump in a D-15 Series II.  The question is: how do you remove the valve seats from the pump body.  There are 5 of them.  All are what I call "Blind Pulls".  The manual says to tap them and use a snatch type puller to remove them; however, the seats are hardend steel and can not be drilled or tapped.  The logest bolt one can insert into the seat from the 7/8" diameter tube which runs front to back of the body is a 10-24x1" long.  That does not make for good "snatching" or pulling.  These seats have been in the tractor since 1965 and needs to be renewed.  Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
