    Posted: 18 Jan 2017 at 10:27am
I picked up a model C in December with mounted cultivators and single bottome plow.
are there any digital sources on these equipment books or will i need paper copies?
I think i have all the pieces for the cultivator but really have no idea as i have no experience with one.  also the plow looks complete but have no idea on mounting.

I would like to know if:  1.  I have all the pieces and 2.  how to mount these implements.
If anyone could point me in the right direction i would appreciate it.  The mounted cultivators I would likely sell as i would never use so i want to make sure they are complete.

thanks

CAL,  You are probably very lucky in that you not only have the implements but the tractor they were mounted on.  That means that most of the mounting brackets - which are usually forgotten when sold and remain on the tractor - are probably there.
I am certain there are digital or hard copies of manuals out there.
If you have trouble finding them let me know.  I sure put enough of them on the C tractor.
You will find that they are very good implements.  The cultivator and the C made an outstanding combination.  In its time it was probably the "state of the art" cultivator.
The plow is an excellent implement.  I was pleased to plow May 2016 with David Dickmyer's 1940 C.  One great experience for an old tractor salesman.
Let us know how it goes.
Good Luck!

ps:  If interested send me a private message - under Bill Long on this site.  I will send you my contact information so we can discuss it further

When I searched yesterday with Google I found several places willing to sell copies of the B and C implement manual. I found a couple places willing to download for free after signing up which I'm not willing to do. Use the search Allis Chalmers B-C implements manual

I've found that if you can find one, the original manuals are much easier to read and have clearer pictures than most of the photocopied reproductions that are available. In some cases, you can even buy a an original for similar or maybe less money than the repro...
