I am looking for a clutch pressure plate and release bearing for an Allis Chalmers AD4 motor grader with a 4-71 GM diesel engine - I think the year is 1953 but not sure -anybody got any ideas?

twin disc corp makes all kinds of pressure plate assemblies. it may be similiar to a dozer clutch. can you post a pic?
HD5B, HD5G, (2) FARMALL A's, CUB. DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME, IGNORE THE LAUGHTER. FLANNEL IS ALWAYS IN STYLE.

Sorry dont have it apart yet it slips when you get a load on the machine - I was just seeing if anyone knew where to locate one

Custom cluthc told me he could rebuild what I have for 1250.00 sounds steep but may be my only route

You ought to find an older dealer, like Sandy lake Equipment, in Western PA, It's been a while since I have bought a clutch, but that quoted price sounds mighty high!

it may have a ring that makes it adjustable like a dozer or over the road truck. you may get away with adjusting it.
