I bought a 716 h from the family of a gentleman who passed. He had the 716 and a chief 1200. He had 2 snow throwers and i dont know which went to the 716. The brackets on one thrower would mount outside the 716s mounts, the other would fit inside of the mounts. Which is correct and does it matter? Thx

Welcome to forum. The hitch is two parts to them. The blower is ether orange or white the a black hitch to mount to tractor. And pins down under front axle, same as mower deck. Does your engine have clutch on front, if so that’s the drive for blower. If not it’s driven off the same as mower deck.

Yes, i needto figure out how to post pics. One of the snow throwers is orange w black connectors, the other is blue, must be the first, ill try and post pics of the 716

You want the orange one. Search around for operators manuals. Manual will answer lots of your questions.
