c transmission question
Is there a way to adjust the c transmission to keep it from sliding out of third , first and second work okay. will not stay in third unless you hold it in. Rich

you can unbolt the ccover on the right side and look inside... The shift forks are attached to the plate, so it takes some effort to reinstall....... Look inside and you will see the worn gears and dogs that engage..... Probably need to disassemble to repair... very seldom is it something simple.

The spacers in the transmission are worn allowing the gears to move up and down, side to side.
