for all you experts. While running her this has happened twice. The engine will bog down like its laboring and the governor kicks in and even if I add throttle it continues to work hard but bogs down and quits running. I am assuming there is fuel blockage at the tanks 2 outlets, in other words crap in the tank restricting fuel flow. It's wierd in that both times it was running around 1200 rpm's, has never done it while running at PTO speed. I recon a fuel supply issue because an air supply piping restriction would do the same thing but it's all clear sailing there with nothing collapsed. Tank cap is venting good with new cork gasket. Are you thinking same as I? Thanks, Dana

I would take the fuel return orface out of the top of the pump when it acts up and see if that cures it. If the govener ring is falling apart it can plug the orface up and cause it to run like that.

My 180 did the same thing, took me forever to figure out it was a clogged inlet to the sediment bowl, replace the entire sediment bowl assembly, not just the screen.  Gary
