ALLIS-CHALMERS 302 baler knives

You're talking about the plunger knives, correct? Unfortunately they wouldn't intetchange with any of the common North American balers. There's a chance they might interchange with some from a model of Jones baler because they made the first few models of AC square balers and the later AC square balers still followed the Jones pattern (I'm pretty sure Jones did all of the design and built many of the components for all AC square balers). But parts for a Jones baler would probably be even harder to come by on this side of the Atlantic.

For my 442, I drew them up in CAD and had some burned on the plasma table at work our of AR450 plate, then took care to try and not overheat while grinding the cutting edge sharp. Seems to be doing OK, but I admittedly only do a few hundred bales a year with it. You might try something like that if you can't find a parts unit. I had two cut, because when dealing with olasma/laser table parts, the most of the cost is in the handling and setup. Costs almost the same to do one as it does two or three.

Not that hard to make with a machine shop. Very easy to sharpen. Hardest part is shimming them correctly. HTH Tracy
