I have removed the seat and the gas tank. pulled the plate off of the left steering clutch/brake. will try to get brake band out tomorrow. When your sitting in the seat there is a lever on each side next to the tanks. The one on the right will move back in forth but the one on the left wont move. What are these levers for. looks as though my uploads didn't work. norm

my guess is brake locks for parking on incline hill. mine are not hooked up. i do plan on trying to do that. pic looks like the brake band is corroded bad.

From what I can tell it looks as though I will be needing a new brake band. where is the best place to get one at a decent cost. thanks norm
