Allis 45 Control Rod Brake Linings

   I've just hit the feature you get when you run out of these - like quick drops of the moulboard.

The maybe solution was a piece of brake lining from the wreck of a 1926 Dodge - nice and flexible and probably an illegal asbestos content.  Held in for the moment with a copper (leatherwork) rivet somewhat countersunk.

If it works next time I'll forget the rivet and epoxy.

So if anyone needs these there might be a supply around the antique car scene.
