Hello All,
My dad has an AC 200 Diesel, he ran it out of fuel and since then it has been a fight it to get it back running right again. We found a fuel line blockage which required the removal of the fuel lines at the tank and at the first fuel filter or water separator. We have it running again but was sucking air and leaking fuel. I see there are what look like rubber o-rings(?) on the fuel lines, I see some refer to these as packings or grommets. Are these replaceable with just standard o-rings or something special we have to get through a dealer? Any direction in getting these sealed up again would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Yes your Agco dealer would have them, or a parts store. There not just a rubber Oring.

They are called rubber grommets and are very important to get everything sealed up,,,any diesel pump shop will have them, Agco was around 1.10 @grommet, pump shop was .20 cents a grommet,, same stuff, but if they aren't sealing right air gets thru and it will run rough

And an air leak is bad for your pump even a small leak. The fuel pressure sender unit on my L2 leaked. Not much but it was just a tad wet looking. No drips. It pulled in more air than it let fuel out. Ruined the advance mechanism in my pump. I think that's the part ruined. Anyhow that leak cost me over $500. I'd say get all new seals for any line you had apart.
