looking for a master cylinder rebuild kit for a 816B. Or the NAPA  kit number. When you push down the brake peddle with the tractor off it makes a hising noise like fluid leaking but none is lost. Think the sound is comming from fluid bypassing in the master cylinder

Mechanical linkage , no cylinder . Check your manual for the machine on brake setup.
I believe you are posting on 816 TLB right.?
unsure if it has hyd assist on brakes , know my 715B is all mechanical with wet brakes as part of rear housing.

has a hydrolic boost. The guy using it said it made a bang then no brakes. Checked the linkages going to the master cylinder. It is a 816 TLB.
