My 6080,s actin up a little , you push the throttle handle up to open her up and nothing , you pull it down and push it up again and it works perfect ; what the h--- is going on ??

sticking metering valve. Probably time for pump freshening.

unhook the linkage at the pump and see if it does the same thing by hand
before you go to tearing off the pump
sounds like it could be a loose andslipping cable to me
i like old tractors of all colors
