Brand new to the site. Life long Allis fan. Just brought home a C with a side mower attachment. Looking for the serial, I think I found it. From what I can tell it is 64981A…. Does this sound correct and if so, what year is it. I’m thinking a 47 but don’t know for sure. Thanks for any info!

should start with a C... and several digits... no "A" on the end...
Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Serial number is stamped on a flat spot on the transmission right in front of the shifter. Should start with a C

'49 Farmall Cub

12,000 built in 1941... Yours was one of them.. Listed should be the STARTING number for the year.
