| Brand new to the site. Life long Allis fan. Just brought home a C with a side mower attachment. Looking for the serial, I think I found it. From what I can tell it is 64981A…. Does this sound correct and if so, what year is it. I’m thinking a 47 but don’t know for sure. Thanks for any info! |

should start with a C... and several digits... no "A" on the end... ------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s. |

Serial number is stamped on a flat spot on the transmission right in front of the shifter. Should start with a C ------------- '41 Allis B '45 Allis B '49 Farmall Cub '72 IH Cub |

Think I found it. C6741 Now, from what I can find, it’s a 1941, possibly 1942. Any opinions? |

12,000 built in 1941... Yours was one of them.. Listed should be the STARTING number for the year. ------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s. |
