Anyone that is using Prodigy P-2 brake control.
Do the brake lights come on when you operate the hand brake lever for trailer brakes only ?

I might be having a problem with mine.

Thanks,
Dusty

My Tekonsha next gen controller does apply brake lights. I had to wire in a separate battery charging function thru my flat7 plug that does not work on my 6 way so ended up adding a extra Non-DOT cord on that trailer, round two prong(pos and grd)polarized light style.

I forget if my controller is a P2 or P3, but it activates the brake lights when you use the hand control. It works almost as well as the factory installed brake controllers in my opinion.
