Bad news for those of us  looking for replacement seat cushions.  I just found out Speer is closing after 59 years in business.  I don't know if some other outfit will buy some of the equipment and patterns or not.  I wanted to get a new seat for my 521 forklift, guess I'll have to look elsewhere.

Michael, they do, (or did) cover old ones or make new ones.  Also sold seats and stuff made by other companies.  I have the feeling something must have happened as on their facebook page she was talking about doing some new products then a month of so later, decided to close.  I'll have to ask a friend out there if he knows what's happening.  Mel on the construction site has bought seats for his crawlers and I'm sure others have given them business too.

I gotten cushions from them and tried to just today before they close.  They're all out as of now. Cry Confused
I talked to her and she said that someone has made an offer to take over the business, but she's not sure which track they'll take.  If they are going to continue with all of the line or not.  She said that we just need to keep looking at the web site and she'll update it when she knows something.
So, keep checking back...Hopefully.....
