So the optional high crop/corn picker gear set...does that slow it down from the standard gear ratio?

Correct.  Its the same ratio as used in RC's

That would be handy for running an All-Crop at times, especially without the live PTO of the WD.

Back in 2006, I had to press this Allis into service baling, as my two more modern tractors decided to die naturally after I had hay down.  I was very thankful for the slowed down gearing running a New Holland 66 baler!!!!
