Anyone know if it's possible to put a shuttle clutch on a D15? I bought a D15 industrial, shuttle works good but tractor has alot of problems so I'm wondering if I can put the shuttle on my D15 I'll instead. I'd so, how hard is it to do?
Thanks

Not so much "hard" as is alot of work. If you use your PTO don't do it. I believe it changes PTO speed gearing.

Steve is correct.  It spins the PTO much faster - around 800 rpm.  Way too fast for an implement rated for 540 rpm.  If you have all the parts you need, it would be a pretty straight forward job.  Just don't use the PTO!

man, I hate to think of the 'fun' tearing ONE D-15 apart but TWO ????
Well, I suppose you'd get REAL good by the end of the month........
problem for me would be are those 'extra' parts  really extras or did I forget to install them ?.....
as for the PTO speed, it's maybe 50% higher , so could you run the RPMs 30% slower ? Anyone try that or would the tractor 'bog down' ?
jes curious.....

All the parts will interchange. The difficulty will be obtaining the correct thickness of snap rings to properly set the preload on the bearings.
I suggest having a Allis repair manual for reference. The parts books are available at agcopartsbooks.com.
