Everybody posting pictures of their bigger tractors makes me want to see some B's and C's. I will try to post a picture of mine tomorrow.

Here's my SFW Kerosene C I've been working on. She is more assembled than this now. Not happy with how the hood turned out so I'll be redoing that.

Have a Kerosene B and a SFW CA in the pipeline. (Still looking for parts for both)

Here is a bunch at the farm from this past spring. First is a wartime B with the extended fenders that I somehow didnt manage to get in the picture. Lol The rest are C's and B's next to it. And a few other orange girls.

bought this o i n 1986 for $50 next day I bought $400 of tires for it. it smokes but I still use it to move everything around the yard when I'm mowing and grading the drive. I had a woods L306 on it but put it on the CA and gave away the L 59 that was on the CA.

This B I built for mowing. I lowered it 8" and shortened the wheel base 8" like an IB. This made it go under branches better and a better turn radius. I built brackets and installed a Woods 6' mower, with a lift system. Next I overhauled a D14 engine and installed it.
I has worked out very well.

Here's my working mutt. The SN says it's a 1942 B, but the engine SN begins with CE, so it has a C engine. It's also a kerosene. I use it in the fall to plow my garden with an Oliver Plowmaster 2 bottom plow with 12" bottoms. Pulls it great with power to spare!! Big smile
I also have the original exhaust pipe.

Yes it is a horn behind the starter.
Headlight diameter is 18 cm . They are original , when my father bought the tractor

The Thomson B has 28" rear tires.
Also the front is built with thicker knees and braces and used a 16" front wheel.

Ladies and Gentlemen,  I cannot realize how I missed this post.
It does my heart good to see all those beautifully restored B's and C's.  Some are still working.
Thank you all for taking such good care of my favorite and the brothers the C and CA.  I hope to save these pictures.
As you all know I do not have any tractors.  My improvement (?) association does not allow any lawn art or equipment here.  However, let me show you my favorite picture with my son and Mr. Lupno's well restored B at Union Grove WI 2005
Thank you all again for taking such good care of my favorite.
Good Luck!

Nice, I'm planning to convert my '51 from pin to SC, anything special needed?

I had purchased this 1951 already converted but I also converted my 1952 to SC also.  I purchased an entire SC assembly from a vendor (I think from Missouri) at the last Orange Power of the Past show.  I am not sure if the traction boost hydraulic pump linkage/spring assemblies are the same, but there seems to be a lot of similar parts.  I am sure someone on the forum here could give you more information.

I'm in Zimmerman, MN, not too far from you Lonnie. Really pleased with it so far, I'll do a separate post with more details when I get a chance.

All these shiny tractors......  There are a lot that haven't been given up on yet out there too....... So here's mine. Don't be scared, post some "someday" photos!

(This one is still in the shop. Have been busy with other things.)

Maybe will have lots of time this spring........

It was B#119, and hopefully will be again. At least I have acquired all the correct bits for it.

Nick,
That is the fanciest front mount snowblower setup I have ever seen! Good job.
Do you need weight in the back to get traction?

As long as there is no ice it does surprising well, fluid and chains are on my list though. Never would have tried it if it wasn't for the impressive work others have posted. There is a thread about it http://allischalmers.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=100061&title=ca-front-mount-snow-blower" rel="nofollow - here so we're not hijacking this one, hopefully it helps somebody. Once in a while it's fun to see them still doing chores.
