We've had a box of 40ty parts for a while and was about to get rid of them....

But I think I need them now! This is the last pull type AC we needed. Beside some rusted spots and the tires are gone its on better shape than it looks. Any advice on them?-Tom

Just check that everywhere that bearings are connected to sheetmetal that the bearing is supported well. I used heavy fender washers all over the combine to beef-up the flimsy spots. beyond that they're about the same as any other All-Crop.

We used it to pick her up and set her on our trailer, to muddy to do anything else. That and it has no tires lol.

Was that a good combine in its day?  I've always wondered Allis then went to such an unconventional arrangement.
