Hi Michael, I went to Minnpar site yesterday and saw, also were pedal steer with subtle differences in brakes and linkages to steering. Pedals were two stage engaging the hydraulics first then applying brakes thru a cam type second lever, did not have the hydraulic piston setups as my 7G does for applying brakes.

The early HD-7G's used the same shifting linkage as the HD-6EP used and had the 4 cylinder turbo-charged 7000 series engine. The later HD-7G'swent to a pedestal type shift linkage similar to the type used on the larger powershift crawlers. The HD-7GB went to the pedalsteer and used the 3500 series 6 cylinder engine which was used in several other applications including wheel loaders and farm tractors.
